Es una artesana que desde muy pequeña aprendió el oficio gracias a su madre María Mercedes, quien no solo le enseñó a usar el telar mapuche, sino que también la instruyó en el teñido de lanas con productos naturales como el musgo seco, la cebolla, el barro, el romero, el quintral, el quilo, entre otros.
